In the heart of the Loire chateaux region, a pleasant gîte in the Château de Saint Gervais, surrounded by a 9-hectare private park with tennis courts available.

Great location, but a few things to watch out for

This location was great and is in a beautiful setting! The apartment itself is very nice and relaxing. It was unfortunately very dirty. I’m sure some of it had to do with construction that was going on with the roof. There was not toilet paper or hand soap, so bring your own. We were told if we ran the heat we would be charged €8/day so we did not run it. Upon checking out the owner charged us for heat even though we had not turned it on. He said he turned it on and if we were warm we needed to pay. Nice man, but we were very frustrated by this, as things seemed to be very clear in correspondence with his daughter who is in charge of the apartment on HomeAway. He did not agree with what information was given to us.

Fantastic Castle & Helpful Owner

This is a great place to stay close to many wonderful chateaux (Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Chaumont, Amboise, Chenonceau etc) to explore & places to eat in Blois. The owner treated us to a private tour of other grand rooms in the chateau that was very interesting. The internet is a bit problematic but M. de Warren tried very hard to rectify this situation. The lounge was large, beds were very comfy, the water hot, it was possible to heat the apartment and there was a washing machine that was great for the baby. The estate looked beautiful covered with a dusting of snow one day. Merci beaucoup.

Le lieu correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes : propre, spacieux et très bien équipé.La vue sur Blois est superbe, et le cadre, au cœur du parc du château, est particulièrement agréable. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et attentionnés.Nous reviendrons très certainement !

Haut-perché

Difficile d'entretenir un château et son parc qui pourrait être superbe. Les trois étages sans ascenseur, ni monte-charge du Haut-perché le rende difficile d'accès. L'appartement est grand. La cuisine est bien équipée mais pas de lave-linge qui pourrait être collectif. L'esthétique pourrait être améliorée.

cadre très agréable à proximité immédiate de Blois et ses environs

3 gîtes se superposent dans ce château. Celui-là est au dernier étage, sous les toits. Agréablement surprise par la taille du logement, plutôt spacieux. Magnifique vue, cadre très sympathique, communication facile avec les propriétaires, bien qu'absents au moment du séjour. Piscine appréciée car séjour durant la canicule, bien que les abords mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement. Je recommande, pour profiter de la visite des châteaux tout en habitant un!
