Pailhaire is a very quiet hamlet located in the commune of Saint-Étienne-Lardeyrol, 15 minutes from Le Puy-en-Velay and its UNESCO World Heritage-listed historical monuments.

On-site: several marked hiking trails (PR type) pass in the immediate vicinity of the gîte (Deux Huches circuit PR 451), mountain biking, trail running. In the village: the Ecurie De La Bruyère offers horseback and pony rides.

Nearby: the Puy de Juscles via ferrata (4km), with a magnificent panorama of the first volcanoes in Europe!

All shops and services (gas station, mini-markets, newsagent/tobacconist, post office, and restaurants) are available in Blavozy (7 km) or Rosière (6 km).

The cottage is located near the Loire Gorges, where you will find a wide range of sports and leisure activities: canoeing, a municipal swimming pool, castles overlooking the Loire, charming villages, and the Valette lake with its leisure facilities. This renovated farmhouse offers accommodation on two levels.

The bright ground floor comprises a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, and a laundry room with a toilet.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with double beds (140 cm), a shower room, and a separate toilet. The living room includes a TV area and a large relaxation area with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, as well as a mezzanine that can be used as an office space. A baby umbrella and high chair are provided free of charge.
