Cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location was fantastic and the hotel itself was really beautiful and clean. But the best part was the amazing staff and really really memorable meal at the restaurant. Highly recommend this place. Much better than some we have been to at much higher price points!

Perfect spot to explore Saint Emilion for a couple of days. But bring hiking shoes or sneakers - the streets are very steep and rocky.

This is the most beautiful and charming hotel in the area. It is the most ancient hotel Saint Emilion, but remodeled and with all the comfort inside and at the same time still conserving that charming and luxurious French old style. Five stars customer service, the staff was great, the cleanliness and of course the Michelin restaurant they have inside the hotel which was a magic experience to try. When I come back I will stay in the same hotel.

The hotel is an excellent property! Our suite 2012 was huge, and the bathtub was the largest that we had ever seen in our life! The suite was well kept, very spacious and amenities were really good. The breakfast was outstanding as well, and the staff was helpful. The reason I took off a point is that the hotel is not easily accessible, especially if you have a lot of luggage. It is a huge inconvenience carrying the luggage up and down the pebbled street, so the hotel should pro-actively inform their customers about it and provide a luggage carrying service as well. Even when we called right before reaching the place, they didn't communicate anything over phone.
