This restored farmhouse is located in the Périgord countryside near Périgueux, a Gallo-Roman and medieval city. It is ideally situated at the gateway to the Périgord Noir, a land of prehistory (International Centre for Cave Art Lascaux 4 in Montignac, 25 km away). Hiking trails will entice you to explore the surrounding countryside. Fishing is possible in a small pond belonging to the owner, located 500m from the cottage (black bass, roach, carp, etc.). A visit to the nearby farm is also possible, with farm products for sale depending on the season: duck breast, foie gras, etc., in winter.
