Great views of the coast

Nicely located hotel in Sagres. Unfortunately no lift ... so walking up with luggage a bit tidious. Nice view from the balcony overlooking the ocean...

This location is beautiful. The view is unparalleled! There was construction which made parking a challenge but hte staff helped us to figure out how to geta spot. We will be back!

Beautiful views of the sea, with lovely gardens plus pool and jacuzzi. It was a bit difficult to find due to construction on the road and there wasn’t really parking to speak of near the hotel; dragging luggage across cobbled sidewalks was not fun. But the hotel itself was lovely.

Great views and easy walk downtown or down to the beach below. Having a hot tub was a nice option. They have access to a pool as well but we did not try it, but it looked great. Room was decent, nothing amazing but no complaints, nice to have A/C after some of our stops did not.

Fabulous property. Great view of ocean and easy walk to water. Room was clean and staff was super nice / helpful. Definitely on my list to revisit. Parking by property a bit sparse but large open free lot just 2 blocks away

Mareta View was great. The views are incredible and we were so happy to walk into our room and find a patio with an amazing view of the ocean and cliffs, lounge chairs and all. After traveling for a week in some very crowded cities and walking 40 miles, this was a very welcome space where we could retreat and have a couple of low key days. The property is beautiful. They have many lounge chairs/beds in their courtyard area plus a hot tub. You can tell they work hard to take great care of the space. Daily breakfast was included with our stay and there are quite a few really good restaurants around. The beach is a few steps and there is also a little trail behind where you can explore the cliffs. Also, the fort is about 1/2 mile away and you can easily walk to it. The property is in a great area of Sagres- center to everything you need and want to see but also the area is not too crowded. The one thing to remember is this is an independently owned hotel in a remote area, so it just won’t hav the amenities of high end city hotels. We thought it was great and really enjoyed our time here!

Mareta View was a perfect place to stay in the Algarve! Our ocean view room with a balcony was amazing!! Perfect location with lots of restaurants in walking distance. No problem parking our car close by for free. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. Hot tub was a bonus plus beautiful Infiniti pool next door to use. Highly recommend!

What a lovely property! Tucked away in a back corner off a busy street. Grounds were lovely. View was amazing. Rooms were tidy. Breakfast was good, nothing amazing but covered the basics. Very convenient to the beach and walkable to restaurants and shops. A nice little surprise!
