I tried to cancel the reservation on the Expedia website because my international flight was delayed and I wasn't able to get to Midland at all, but every time I clicked on the Cancel Reservation button, I got an error message that I couldn't. I called Hampton and the desk explained that the reservation (made on 9/27/25) could not be canceled because it was not canceled 24 hours in advance which would be on 9/26/25, a day before I even made the reservation!! I was charged for the room even though I never made it to Midland. I plan on disputing the American Express charge for this. This is ridiculous!! Fix your website!
