"My brothers and I rented the home as a place to crash while spending a few days cleaning out our mother’s house. We were delighted becasue it was far more than a place to crash. The property is better than described- everything was immaculate and comfortable from the beautiful bathrooms to the beds and A/C. The snacks and coffee, creamer were greatly appreciated. Kathleen and her husband were super responsive and helpful both pre-check in and during our stay."

"Jane's place was nice, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed, in the kitchen: pots/pans, spices, oil, coffee, silverware, grill tools, etc., enough linens, towels, toiletries in both bathrooms, etc. The location was quiet and beautiful, just what we wanted to get away and relax! Jane was a kind host and was quick to respond to any questions, had a bottle of wine for us. We loved being able to have our little dog, Daisy with us. Sackets Harbor, just a few min away was the cutest, quaint historical town. The 250th 4th of July fireworks were extra special watching on a battlefield from the war of 1812. Good Fellos restaurant was very good, thx for the recommendation, Jane! Only a few minor things that would have made our time even better: the biggest bummer was the dock, it was covered in tall grasses, even coming through the wood slats on the dock, making it very difficult to fish off of bc our lines would get caught in it. It didn't look that way in the pictures. It was pretty warm in the upstairs bedroom even with the AC on and it smelled a bit like cat/dog pee. The filtered water in the fridge and ice machine weren't hooked up so had to get a ton of water bottles to drink and make ice. Beds/pillows weren't the most comfortable but were fine. Our family 5 couldn't all sit in the living room on the couch to watch a movie on rainy nights. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying again!
