This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!

New owners had just taken over 5 days before we arrived so will love to see how they put their mark on the place. We had a very pleasant stay at the holiday park. It's in a lovely location where you can walk around in the bush or by mangroves across the road. It was easy to drive into the main area in Russell and beaches nearby approx. 5-10 min by car. We made use of the kitchen facilities in the cabin also.
