The staff were super friendly and helpful and all around lovely people. The room was large and very clean and everything worked well. Was well located and easy to get a rickshaw to the bus/train station. Breakfast was great too!

Excellent hotel to stay in Rajshahi.

Recently my family took a trip to Rajshahi and stayed in Royal Raj. We had a great experience of our stay in this hotel. Clean and well equipped hotel in a fantastic location. Hotel services were excellent. Breakfast was great. All the staffs were very cordial and friendly. I will definitely stay in this hotel in our future visits to Rajshaji.

A lot of noise in the room due to electrical switch(between city electricity and back up source). The switch keep giving sound that is really unpleasant during night. The fridge noise is too high so I switch it off. Breakfast was really poor. No juice, no fruit just an instant coffee and tea bags

Very friendly staff. Very comfortsble room. Matress like stone but they provide extra matress to soften it when u ask for it. Internet not always stable. Excellent location. Very nice rooftop cafe and restaurant. Transport to Gaur can be arranged but with 10000 BT is not cheap.

The rooms do not have safety boxes. The front desk does not have a security system. Though it is a safe area, robberies must occur and tourists (being obviously well-off compared to locals) are a natural target. The hotel bought me a safety box but just left it on the coffee table. It was under ten pounds and not bolted down. Just useless. The staff have master keys. The room cleaners leave the keys on the service cars unattended. I showed the pictures to the management. The staff is super nice, maybe too nice. All my criticisms are directed at the management. Staff requires better training. Maybe management should spend a few nights at rivals hotels to better understand the level of services available. The breakfast can kindly be described as week. There were about ten items each morning with minimal variety. Eight of the ten items were carbohydrate intensive. The other two where saucy/fried meats. Normally hot foods were served a room temperature. Minimum fruit/vegetables/healthy/fiber. The orange juice was more as a sugary orange colored drink. No brewed coffee, only some powdered instant. I used the hotel car to tour some of the local sights. Sometimes it was expensive in a disrespectful way. Example is a taxi from the airport to the hotel was 1,000, The hotel requested 2,500 for the return transfer. They refused to help arrange an outside taxi. Hotel area is lively and fun. Sometimes staff was so nice as to guide walk to local restaurants.
