The room was great very spacious for 2 person you can even cooked prepare your food, the toilet was clean and the sauna was amazing 👍… but the most stood out is the place Santa Claus village is like a winter wonderland it was amazing place the lights during the night will amaze you.

The cottage was good, sauna was a strong plus. But that was it. The service is not great, especially for the money paid for the cottage. More than 1300 $ per night and no cleaning at all, no body lotion, bed was made only after being called 3 times and i had to do that every day. And what to say about breakfast, the worst i have ever seen. Toaster was broken so no warm sandwiches, coffee machine was half working and scrambled eggs has weird rubbery texture. I would suggest staying in Rovaniemi city and coming to holiday village for day trips. And none of the theme parks stuff is included in the money you paid for. So pay extra for everything.

Santa Claus Village has different options to stay - we stay in a suite with sauna, just behind the main centre (behind snowman world). You could walk to main centre with Santa, post office, restaurants, playground, activities, main reception/hub all within 5 minute walk. Rooms are odd - large bathroom, but small living space if there's a family of 4 staying (the sofa changes to a bed and you can just about squeeze past). Beds were comfotable and sauna was great. Maids cleaned and made beds daily. Limited space to store clothes, but hangers near front door for wet coats etc. Lots to do around - snow makes it as can take kids just outside for sledding and playing. Book tours in reception or choose external provider. There's a lot to do for younger children, also 2 santas you can visit - time it so you go at the end of the day, we waited 5 mins, but heard some people wait 2 hours! I would not wait this long to see Father Christmas. Lots of day trippers and tourists, but of a night, it's dead - this is when it's lovely to walk around as an adult, lots of pretty lights and feels very festive. Staff all good, very helpful on whole. Liked the main breakfast area and later it's an ala carte restaurant. It's expensive, but you don't have to leave and you are probably not going to visit again, so enjoy your time!

Staying in this property made our trip magical. It was a pleasure to return from an outdoor activity to a cozy cabin, spacious and equipped with the amenities to feel like home. The only thing we found interesting (and maybe this is a cultural difference) is that daily cleaning included making the bed and changing towels only. We are used to full cleaning. But a minor detail.

Clean room, firm comfy bed, but nothing compared to the magic. Absolutely unbelievable 2 nights stay, my children aged 17 said itbwas the best holiday they had ever been on and we have been all over the world, they want to come back every year. Meeting father christmas was just the most amazing experience, we loved it!!!

The rooms were spotless the bathroom was very clean and the bed was really comfy. Kitchen was good but could of done with a cooker instead of a dish washer. Really enjoyed our stay ! X
