I cannot express enough, how much we enjoyed our stay at The James Hotel! Between the amazing staff, the lovely room and the amenities as well as the proximity to everything while in Rotterdam, our stay was perfect. We would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay even though the shower floors were very slippery, in fact one of us fell. We told the front desk but not sure if that situation has changed.....be very careful as there are no grab bars to hold on to as well. Was not crazy about the breakfast setup as you don't have options for hot breakfast. They give out discount coupons at the front desk for a couple restaurants. Hotel very clean and staff great.

Be aware that building work being carried out around (and perhaps to) the hotel, Rotterdam appaeras to be never finished and building work everywhere but still a graet location
