A truly distinguished hotel addresses problems with grace. When we arrived, the AC was not working; and the room was very hot. The receptionist quickly got a tech, who explaned that the fix might take a while. So, we went to dinner while she worked on it. After dinner, the waitress declined payment and said the hotel would comp our dinner. When we got to our room, the AC was working. A memorably good hotel!
