Aura is a beautiful place and I felt genuinely welcomed on arrival. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and handy cooking facilities. Laundry is available on site for just $4 a load, and there’s a great bike wash area too. The amazing mineral pools and outdoor pool are real highlights, along with a BBQ and compost bin. It’s clear they really value the environment, which I loved. I originally booked 2 nights but was so impressed I added another night! Highly recommended – a relaxing and eco-friendly stay.

Had a nice stay at Aura Accommodation. Room was clean and we had everything to make coffee in the mornings. We arrived late but they set things up so we could do a self check-in, worked perfectly. Hotel is just a short walk to Eat Streat with a multitude of restaurants to choose from. FYI, some rooms (like ours) have a large sliding patio door instead of a regular one. Worked fine, but was felt odd at first. Nevertheless, would stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Rotorua--found this place based on other recommends and was not disappointed! Customer service was especially stellar, and we really enjoyed the private hot spring pools that the place offered, a real treat!
