We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Rothenburg is a very beautiful little town and this hotel made our trip even more special. It has a lovely historic charm and the location is amazing. It is right in the heart of the town, easy access to everything in few minutes and our room even had a view of the Plöinen. Loved our stay!

It’s all about location and ambience with Goldener Hirsch. The comfortable rooms lend a cozy intimacy and their breakfast room has stunning views of the valley. The breakfast was laid out with everything you could possibly want. I stayed here in 1995 and when we finally were able to come back I would not stay anywhere else! The GH team really took care of us, we couldn’t be happier. Thank you once again!!

Breakfast was overrun by 2 tourbusses which literally swarmed in and raided the buffet like there was no more food tomorrow. We also woke up to cigarette smoke over the whole floor. The whole place felt like i was staying in the middle east instead of Germany if you can read between the lines
