Where do I start. I've spoken and complained to staff. I want a refund. If someone had said I'd get my money back to book somewhere else i would have. Arrived to a boiler not working. Eventually after several calls the maintenance man arrived. We had to show him how to fix it. Even he admitted the place smelt of drains and the fridge smelt so badly even he agreed it was eye watering.
There are no lampshades in any room. The maintenance man said they'd be stolen. Not true I checked the estate agents photos and no lampshades.
The kettle is disgusting. I had to buy one. I had to buy a throw so I could sleep on top of the bed as the sheets weren't clean. Carpets are stained. There is mould everywhere. The putty on the bath is falling out, the curtains, blinds and other areas are just dirty. I had to clean the sofa before we went near it. There is weird red dust on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. The pans were stuck to the cupboard.
The glass in the vestibule door is cracked and therefore dangerous. This glass should not be in the door in a rented property and should be removed as it does not meet fire standards.
The equipment is not PAT tested and although not a legal requirement is advised in a rental property.
The towels look like ones I used to get in youth hostels. The television did not work properly. I got told a refund would be sorted if I sent photographs as evidence. I have heard nothing. I had to stay due to no water in my own house.
