A haven of peace and tranquillity in the heart of South Connemara, this stone cottage has been lovingly and thoughtfully built by Tomas on the site of his ancestral home.
Situated on a secluded site 500m off the main road and just of the Wild Atlantic Way, guests will enjoy views of the beautiful surrounding hills and lakes,
The cottage is meticulously maintained. There are hard wood floors throughout, a wood burning stove in the open plan kitchen-living room, and all mod cons.
Make yourself comfortable in your vacation home. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a washing machine and an iron/ironing board.

Beautiful cottage, very clean, spacious and well equipped for our needs. Hot water worked consistently for 4 people showering, washer / dryer a plus. Good location for day trips. So quiet and relaxing, very enjoyable stay. Tomas contacted me before arrival, checked that we were settled in and check out was easy with a short list of things to do before departure. There was no wifi so be sure to have plenty of data if being connected is important to you. Overall lovely experience, recommended.

We stayed at Tomas’ property for 3 days and we absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage in Rosmuc! The cottage was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with those little touches that make you instantly feel at home.The setting is pure Connemara magic: peaceful, surrounded by wild beauty, with stunning views just outside the window. It was the perfect base for exploring Galway and the surrounding villages, yet quiet enough to enjoy mornings with a cup of tea and evenings under the soft Irish sky.Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Traveling as a family, we found it ideal — plenty of space, sparkling clean, and a lovely mix of comfort and character.If you’re looking for a place that captures the charm of Ireland and gives you that warm, cared-for feeling, this cottage is it. We’re already dreaming of coming back!
