Nice stay with hostile, aggressive ending

Overall we had a very nice stay at this house; it is located in a quit area approximately 1,5 km from the main road. Check-in was easy since the owners live next door. Communication went well and when we had a bit of trouble finding the house after a long drive, the owners reached out and guided us the last mile. The check-out was a totally different story... Even though we left a bit of a mess (did not clean the fridge, bread crums on the kitchen table, blanket on floor and dishwasher still running), the owners totally lost their minds, shouting and swearing at me, my wife and my boys, threatening to call the police to have us arrested, making photos of my son when he was in the car and even making cut-throat gestures. Eventually they demanded an extra 100 euro cleaning costs which felt more like a fine than a realistic amount. But I paid the 'fine' and we left, leaving the two in anger and hostility.
