Room was facing the street that had constant noise throughout the night. It was impossible to sleep. It was same for weekdays and weekends, nonstop noise. Also, at checkout, the city tax was double the charge from Expedia, they said for 2 persons. Expedia did not have this correct in the order.

The room was very clean. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I did take advantage of the breakfast so I can’t speak on the food. I enjoyed my stay very much and just recommended the hotel to a friend. I was traveling solo and felt very safe in the the area, even returning at night. It is a 5 min walk to the duomo and the square, where there are tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. It is about a 10 min walk to the main train station. Right next to the hotel, there is a street that has tons of stalls set up with handbags, leather goods, jewelry and other items. Mercado central is 3 min away, and there you can find lots of food.

Good location for getting around to the main attractions. Comfortable room, but not a lot of space. Good size bathroom. Area around the hotel was dirty and seemed unsafe, but we didn’t have any problems.

The reception was great, very helpful. However the clean crew was not, they entered my room mid day then proceeded to turn the light on while I was napping, cleaned my room but don’t take the trash out, then they also entered my room when I placed the do not disturb sign on the door and still didn’t take out the trash.

Staff friendly and the amenities were great. The spa and gym are excellent but you do have to pay extra for these even if get a small discount as hotel guest. The shower is nice and modern… room a bit more worn. Requested a twin room but got a double, not a massive issue and I didn’t ask to swap when arrived. We were on ground floor and I had to wear ear plugs to sleep as it was quite loud being close to the reception, the room could do with more furnishings to absorb the echos. Room also smelt a bit like smoke which is probably due to people smoking outside but it coming through the ventilation. Good location and everything is an easy walking distance.
