This is not your "cookie cutter" hotel. This hotel was amazing with a perfect location 5 minutes walking distance from the top of the Spanish Steps. All of the staff were so friendly, and willing to assist should you need anything. We booked a larger room that had extremely large (9ft? 12ft?) windows/shutters that opened into the most beautiful natural landscaped area. (I felt like a Disney princess every time I'd go open them up.) The room had artisan tiles throughout the bathroom and the main floor area of the room, and high ceilings. It's a little corky with the "brave lovers" theme. Love sticky notes on beautiful staircase walls, disco ball in the shower, and wine glasses placed on decor that was meant to look like a women's breasts. (Weird right?) This property has such authentic beautiful architecture no need for that, focus on the story of the hotel and the natural beauty this property has.

Stayed here for our anniversary. Our first room had so many things wrong with it that it really ruined the experience. The fridge didn't cool, the outlets on the bed didn't work, the tub jets flew off releasing debris into our bath, and the pipes sent a raw sewage smell into our room. We got moved into a different room the next day, but the staff wouldn't do anything else for us.

Room was perfect. Hot tub was great for long days walking. Food around the hotel was exceptional. Not even a block from the top of the Spanish steps. Getting back to the hotel was up hill, not an issue, but be aware. Entry to room was code locks, made it easy for access. Bed was super comfortable and pillows were nice, had two differet types to choose from

The room was clean but not your traditional hotel room, with a private bathroom. The bed was round and it was comfortable. Very limited room for suitcases. The shower is IN the bedroom, as is the bathroom sink, and the walls are thin. We could easily hear our neighbors into the wee hours. The location was ideal for nearby attractions and getting around the city. We booked the hotel based on the variety of unique rooms shown on the website but were underwhelmed when we actually got to our room.

Very unique and romantic stay. Staff were attentive and reachable at all times. Location is central and close to most tourist sites. Only downside is that you can’t open the windows. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay !
