Equally close are Caffarella Park, the Appian Way, and the Catacombs. Whether you choose to walk or take public transportation, you can reach the Colosseum—and thus the city’s historic center—in just a few kilometers. Alternatively, by taking a small train a few kilometers away, you can even reach the beach in less than an hour. A short walk of a few hundred meters takes you to the bus stop with routes to the main neighborhoods. The nearby Garbatella and San Paolo neighborhoods also have metro stations. Alternatively, if you bring your own bicycles, there are bike paths leading to the historic center. Taxis and private hire cars are always available.
