The hotel, restaurant, staff, breakfast, were all great. The lobby is very appealing. The location is excellent for walking everywhere. Our room was another story. The heavy shower head was old, corroded, and actually fell off! You can see the patched up holes in the shower floor where it has fallen before and caused damage. If it had fallen on either of us we could have been hurt. There was no hand soap in the room. Just 4 bottles of hair conditioner. Housekeeping needs more attention. The desk staff kindly offered us another room, but as we were just there for one night and had largely unpacked we didn't wish to waste time on moving.

At checkIn we were told that there was full occupancy in the main hotel. Our room was apart of another building attached to the main hotel, which took away slightly from the experience of the ambiance and feel of being in the actual hotel. Our entrance door to get to our room was atleast 5 doors down from the main entrance. So if we wanted to visit guest services or have access to other amenities of the hotel, we had to walk out onto the street to access them. Other than that, the staff was nice, accomodating and helpful. The room was clean and the added feature of access to my Youtube account on the tv was a plus as we had our 8 year old son that was travelling with us.

Request the main building as the separate Annex Building is on the street corner where all the trash cans are lined up and you will be waking up to garbage trucks "every single day" at 2:30 AM for approx 5-10 minutes. We asked to be moved but staff was not able to accommodate my family.

We stayed in the bigger rooms a few doors down. Great air conditioning if staying in the summer. Staff was polite. Shower is configured horribly. Water everywhere if you’re not paying close attention. Great location for just about anything.

We booked a family room for my wife, two kids and myself. Here is the list of issues we had with the hotel: - No door on bathroom instead they had a rickety foldable screen - No vent in bathroom - Kids bed too short - Shower wand doesn’t work and drain cover is loose - Intermittent internet connection over WiFi - Shower water temperature fluctuates from cold to scalding. Can’t hold a constant temperature - Room refresh didn’t leave adequate toilet paper - Room refresh didn’t refill shower gel or shampoo and the front desk couldn’t help us because the housekeeping staff had left for the day Pluses - very helpful concierge - Fantastic AC - Great location to access all the sights

Location and staff make this a stand out hotel. My third stay here and would highly recommend it. You can walk to most of the main sites easily and only 10 minute walk from Termini.
