Booking and communications were excellent. Before arriving I was contacted to confirm arrival time as it’s not a manned reception. The location is excellent close the colosseum and Roman forums, lots of restaurants and shops close by. Walking distance to the train station and other attractions. Hotel managers Patrizia and Alessandro were very kind and helpful. Willing to help with taxis and other requests if needed. The rooms and amenities were great. There was a little kitchenette available for use with coffee machine and chilled water etc. Could also store bags before departure flight. Overall we loved our stay, and the location was a huge selling point. Would definitely stay again. Rome is a busy city so expect some noise but we found the hotel relatively quiet late night.

Overall we were very pleased with our whole experience at the Residenza Imperial Roma. The owners were very helpful and informative. Our room(Adriana) was roomy and clean. Owners Alessandro and Patrizia make you feel like you are family. They are excellent hosts for this four room residential hotel. It has an available kitchen and the rooms are well equipped and extremely comfortable. We will stay here again (have stayed there twuce). Only a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum and the Forum plus local eateries and markets. 5 stars all around!

This was the most amazing little secret stop to stay! The host was in contact with me before check in and leaving my bags early before check in so I could walk around was an option. When I did check in I was greeted with such warmth it made me feel truly welcomed. The room is cozy and simple, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the windows allowed me to open up to the city sounds and sunrise perfectly. The food and shopping nearby was great, especially the breakfast place they partner with! It was amazing to step outside the doors and just see the coliseum - it’s perfectly located and one of the best places Ive stayed.
