Lovely environment. Room clean. Breakfast supplies delicious and Hosts Ursula and David very welcoming and considerate. Also within walking distance to most landmarks. We walked everywhere except to train station.

The spacious lodging was charming, very clean and the locale is terrific. The owner, Ursula, went out of her way to help on everything. It is the polar opposite of a large, impersonal hotel. Location - It is in the charming area of Rome known as Trastevere, and just off the Tiber River. I walked there to see Pope Leo at his Audience at St. Peters's Square. It is an even shorter walk to the Panthenon, Trivoli Fountain, the Spanish Steps and myriad other tourist highlights. There is no shortage of excellent restaurants and shopping opportunities within minutes of Residenza delle Arti. The Piazza is a happening place with gusto, street performers and the world class Basilica di Santa Maria. As a photographer it is a beyond terrific locale. This was the second time we stayed in Trastevere, and on our next Rome trip will again stay there. Enjoy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Residenza Dells Arti. It was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had such a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and the care you’ve clearly put into creating such a pleasant space. The number of restaurants within walking distance was impressive. Being able to walk to the various landmarks was a plus! That being said, taxis are always close by. We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future. Thank you for making our time here so enjoyable

Residenza delle Arti is a rare jewel. Perfectly located in Trastavere close to the Tiber and easy walkable Trastavere area dining & attractions as well as river crossings to the heart of Rome’s most famous sites i.e., Fontana Trevi, Collesseo, Via del Corso and Vatican City’s Saint Peter’s Basilica et al many more; lace up your comfortable walking shoes. Spacious, clean, well appointed rooms with luxurious bathrooms. Grazie Mille host Ursula for a wonderful stay in Rome.

We enjoyed our stay at this property in the Trastevere area. Ursula was a great host. Very walkable, and lots of great restaurants and gelato shops in the area. Only downside was a VERY loud AC unit, but there were earplugs provided in the room to counteract, as the property is located along a very busy street as well.

We loved our stay here! The property is so fun and artsy. I think our room was the largest we had during our whole trip in Italy which was a nice surprise. We had a little sitting area and a spacious bathroom as well as a bed and a sofa day/bed. The windows were lovely as they opened up and at night you could fully black them out which was super nice! The room was also very nice. Ursula and her son were SO kind and welcoming. They walked us through everything and how to use it so we didn’t have any questions. We often struggled with locks at other places we stayed as they’re different from what we are used to, but not here. Everything was super clear and communicated. It was also very clean and tidy. They also helped us to book airport transportation for our flight out of Rome. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

This is a comfortable & clean place to stay, in a great neighborhood. I had a triple room with my sister and friend, and the room was big enough that we didn't feel crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast available was nothing fancy, but totally sufficient. I'd stay here again.

Urzula made our visit to Rome incredible!!! Met us for an early check in after our transatlantic flight and helped us so many times with where to go - restaurant recommendations and everything - even surprising us with a little champagne and cake for my birthday on our first night! Location fantastic for getting around - a bit of a busy street but everything else about the room was amazing and Urzula’s attention truly made everything worth it!!! Nice variety of little breakfast treats, including some meats and cheese and fruits for me (I’m GF) and the room had big windows and shutters and the chining bell tower across the street was like out of a movie! Highly recommend!

We stayed recently for 5 nights. Our hosts, Urszala and her son, David, were just the sweetest and nicest people. They are very responsive if you need anything at all. She even decorated our room for our anniversary and left us a little bottle of Prosecco as a welcome. The room was very clean, bed and pillows are super comfy!! the shared kitchen area is very convenient and well stocked (coffee, tea, snacks, fruit) easy grab and go for breakfast. The location is within about 1.5 walking miles of all the sites and right on the bus line to the train station. The very best gelato we found is right behind the guest house. There is a little road noise because it's located in Trastavere right in a busy area so that can't be helped. The only suggestion I have is to repair the vintage parquet flooring. My husband said it sounds like walking on potato chips. Other than that, it was a great value and a very pleasant stay.
