Fit for Purpose

Central location, quick access to metro. Room very compact but clean. Beds comfortable but room lacked natural light, it was a ground floor room. It worked well for a couple of nights. Breakfast is basic but ok for price paid. Mohammid is the person now looking after check in ect.. Very pleasant, we paid by cash on our arrival, but there is a credit machine.If your looking for a hotel standard then this is not the place. But for those who need a clean room to sleep and perfect location then I would recommend Plumuith.

Good place to stay

The guest house is greatly located. The owner is very friendly. The room is big, modern and in very good condition. The only concern is the wifi which is very unstable or even the mobile network by TIM but the owner tried hard to fix it to me.

I was expecting a nicer place based on the rating. The place is really small, and there is no lobby, and the surrounding area doesn't feel very clean and safe. The pro is host is a nice guy, and it is convenient to the termini station, the place is clean.

easy as a newbie

This is my first time euro trip, and easy location of my stay is really important, Piumith served that. Ring the bell, Alauddin came and warm greet. No hidden payment, all shown in web. Alauddin always kindly asked me what I need along my stay for 3 nights. My room was single room but I was surprised with my king size bed. Over my expectation for all. Thanks Piumith.

Economical and Great location

Hotel staff went out of their way to answer our questions and assisted in booking transportation to the airport for us. This is a clean and efficient place to stay within walking distance of Rome's major attractions. Lot's of restaurants in the area to choose from. Very close to Termini Station. Free wifi was an extra benefit. Will stay here again.

A Comfortable and Convenient Base

The accommodation was comparatively good value and the rooms were quiet given the very busy nature of the area. It is well situated close to trains, buses etc and many of the top attractions of the city. Easy to get good food nearby. I'm glad that I read someone else's review about finding the buzzer on the wall because there is no sign for Piumith on the street. It is not a swish hotel but it certainly provided a comfortable base from which to explore this marvellous city.

These rooms are very small and are situated in a sketchy apartment building. It is fairly close to the Italian attractions and historical sites however.

Piumith Hotel for the propper tourist.

Central location. 5 minutes walk from Termini station. Furthest attraction is the vatican at about 7/8kms. If you are like us and just need a room to sleep and shower and on a budget. This is for you. Great location, Very clean. Staff will help in anyway you ask. Just get up on the morning and walk and dont return until you want to sleep.

Good location for Rome Termini

This B&B consists of three rooms on the third floor of an old building in a busy street very close to Rome Termini station. It takes a little ingunuity to find the B&B - you need to look closely at the boards outside the entrance and press an intercom bell. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are quite old but quite clean and tidy. The area is full of good restaurants. I would recommend this B&B who someone who needs to stay close to Rome Termini and does not demand too much luxury. I consider it good value for money.

The hotel was extremely difficult to find, which of course is not their fault, but I wish there were some more instructions on their website. I lugged around my suitcase trying to find it, only to discover that it's part of a large apartment complex. I pushed the intercom and without a word the door was buzzed open. I waited 5-10 min before someone came down. It actually made me a little worried about the security, seeing that they just buzz the door open for any random person on the street. The guy who checked us in could barely speak a sentence of English, and we ended up grunting and using hand motions. I didn't expect him to have perfect English, but he should at least be able to communicate with us about the basics for the room.The room itself is small and old, with an ancient CRT TV that's only maybe 8 inches across. The worst part of my stay was that my room was next to the breakfast room, and everyday before 7 AM I would be woken up by lots of loud sounds. The sound insulation was horrible and I could hear even coughs from the next room. I do NOT recommend anyone to stay here.

Great B&B for a trip to Rome

We stayed in the Piumith Hotel for five nights and we liked it a lot, The B&B is a two minutes walk away form the railway station and still not too far from the city centre. The service was very nice and friendly and we could communicate easily in English. The hotel lies in a quiet and pretty courtyard. The room as well as the bathroom were always very clean. It is a very small hotel without superfluous luxury, where the price - performance ratio is very good. The B&B offered us everything we needed and wanted to cool anc calm down from an exhausting but enyoable city trip. Everytime we go back to Rome we would take this B&B again.

Piumith B&B in Rome, Italy

My daughter and I stayed at the Piumith, July 2011. It is 2 streets down from the Termini. Has FREE INTERNET, a huge PLUS. Outside of the building , you have to ring the buzzer for the Piumith , there are several apartments, B&B`s, and businesses also in the building. the gentleman will meet you in the beautiful courtyard and direct you to where your room is. The man that runs the B&B is very kind, and helpful. Be prepared to pay Cash upon arrival for your entire stay, don`t forget the extra E for the tourtist tax. You will receive 3 keys, 1 to get into the building, 1 for the hall door, and 1 for your room. The room was clean, bathroom was clean but very small. Shower is very tight on space..Towels are changed every 3 days, no washcloths. . You are supplyed 1 day supply of shampoo, that is all. There is also a soap dispenser on the wall in the bathroom. So either bring all your bathroom products, such as soap, shampoo ect. or simply buy them at a local Farmacia, or at a Grocery Store. VERY NO FRILLS place to stay. The breakfast in the morning is served from 8am-9:30am. Coffee, juice, cereal, pastry, there is a basket on every table (only 3 tables, and it is held in the office), in the basket there is prepackaged pastries, cookies, dry toast, jellies, and butter. I felt totaly safe, a tad seedy at night around the Termini, but nothing to worry about. Great location. With-in walking distance of many locations. Republica, Saint Maria Maggiore, Colosseo, Roman Forum, Palatino, many more if you feel like walking. If you don`t, the Metro is just a stone throw away as are the Buses, and of course the Trains.. Use your tour books and computer for places to eat, great Pizzeria across from the termini. So this a great place to stay to rest your head.and feet. I would stay here again.

El barrio no es muy bonito, pero queda muy cerca a la estación de Roma Termini, llegamos antes del check in y Felizmente nos dejaron guardar nuestras cosas en la misma habitación. Realmente el joven de la recepción es muy amable. El desayuno estuvo bien y gracias al mapa que nos dieron en recepción gratis, fuimos por todos los atractivos turísticos.

Nada sobresaliente!

En general fue una buena visita, pero Alauddin no fue del todo cordial, ya que nuestra reservación incluía el desayuno y el decía que no. No se tomo la molestia de validarlo inmediatamente, solo decía “no está incluido”. Y literalmente nos pidió retíranos a las10 am, aunque el check-out era a las 10:30.
