It is a good area, a short walk to the subway and close to good restaurants. The apartment has all you need, though it is tiny. I was surprised to find out that we had to pay the city tax the next morning. Although she did tell me via text, it was not clear to me what that entailed.
Bathroom had trash in it still when I arrived so it left a doubt in my mind as to how clean and disinfected the place actually was
The team her were very help and allowed me to drop off my bag before check in so I could explore the city without any issues. Very helpful and friendly. The location was great very easy to get to and from while visiting lots of popular attractions. The only issue was that with tall ceiling and minimal soft furnishings there is a lot of noise carried so when bins are emptied at midnight in the streets below or the next door room’s alarm goes off at 4am it sounds like it’s in the room with you!!!
The property was different with an old fashioned elevator and 4 foot high bed. It was convenient to walk to our excursions and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Staff wasn't helpful.
Supervisor was rude.
On the website is information about late check in.
If you will arrive late please contact to with the hotel.
What i did.

La Casa di Iulia is a wonderful place to stay! The accommodations are great. King size bed and mini frig were a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The location is perfect for visiting The Vatican-especially at night!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Location was amazing and the property was very clean and comfortable. Ronnie, who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms was lovely. Didn't meet the owner till the last day when she gave us our bill for the city taxes. Grumbles - breakfast was limited; a sweet croissant, yogurt and granola and coffee. Very boring by 5th morning. No drawers to store clothes in room - just some hanging space. Water pressure in shower very poor. I would have loved a full length mirror somewhere too! Overall though we would stay there again.
We had a delay on our from the UK, Guilia waited for us quite late and made us feel very welcome. lovely room, clean and in a good area. Breakfasts just right. Air con just what was needed Lovely staff. We will definitely be going back to stay x
Very cute, clean. Clearly one of a kind decorating. The one-man staff was very nice. Breakfast was modest but good (croissant, yoghurt, granola, coffee). Building/rooms very quiet. Area is quite pleasant and not at all touristy -- lots of shops and restaurants. Minimal accessories -- no kleenex, a small bar of soap for 2 days, no dresser/drawers of any kind. The staff is gone in the afternoon/evenings and you let yourself in with a series of 3 keys.
We have arranged to check-in earlier, but unfortunately, our flight was 2 hours delayed. Iulia patiently waited until we got there. She gave us good recommendations where to eat.
The apartment is a great location when visiting the Vatican, it's about 5-10 mins walking. The B&B has easy access to public transportation that gives you access to the rest of the city. The room was very clean and compact, but it's adequate with a private bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious and prepared daily by Ronnie, who was kind & helpful. You'll get your traditional Italian breakfast. Also, you can leave your luggage without extra cost. Check in & check out was convenient.
Our overall experience was awesome and we recommend this place to stay when you're in Rome.
Great B&B, but you need phone service or wifi to m
Delightful! This B & B is well located, walkable to all the major sights, and in a nice neighborhood that isn't too touristy. The breakfast was nicely brought to our room each morning by a friendly staff person who also gave us tips about how to walk to our destinations and where to eat. The only problem is that there is no front desk at all, and the host had to contact us about how to check in. If we hadn't had wifi and What's App, I'm not sure how it would have worked. As it was, when we arrived, we had to be let into the building by a neighbor who then called our host, as there was no wifi available outside of the building.
Good location, helpful staff, breakfast was one croissant, 2 brioche with butter jam and nuttella served with orange juice and a tiny (italian style) coffee
Everything was great about this B&B. Very good location, near the Vatican city, but not in the touristic area. A lot of good restaurants and cafes nearby, 2 supermarkets. The place is cozy and very clean, obviously was renovated recently. The host, Giulia, was very helpful and nice. The place indeed made our stay in Rome memorable. Many thanks to our host and the staff! And the special mention goes to the old elevator :)
