Location is great. A block away from the colosseum and metro station. plenty of good restaurants downstairs on the street. The only downside it was that the room was completely different from the pictures. On the website looked like a very Italian and cute decor … in reality it was very plain and nothing like it was offered. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend the place based on location and friendly staff.

I was really happy with my stay at Imperial Rooms. This is not a luxury property but the staff are lovely and ensure you have a safe and secure experience next to the Coliseum. There is no elevator but staff jumped to help me carry my luggage up to the 1st floor. It was remarkably quiet. Everything was very clean. However, the bed could use an upgrade. You must leave your key on site and buzz in after hours but there is always someone at the desk. I would recommend Imperial Rooms for folks on a budget.

Coliseum is really close by and room is clean but the following items were strange: Hotel requires you to leave your keys with the front desk every time you leave your room. At times, I wanted to just drop off something to my room but didn’t because it seemed like a hassle to have to get the keys and give them back or I didn’t want to disturb the front desk worker late at night. Has a lot of signs posted everywhere telling you what you can’t do such as bring friends into your room.
