The room was clean and quite large. You could tell the staff had just cleaned it. There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very helpful when we needed a taxi.

There was good restaurants nearby. Many sites were 15 minutes walking. The Vatican City was a beautiful 1 hour walk early in the morning. The room was very comfortable and spacious and staff were very helpful.

-The rooms were spacious and clean. -It says 1 beverage/day for 2 persons, but nothing was offered. -i did not feel that we were welcome. Very strict, worse than you being in catholic boarding school. We could not even open the doors without asking permission from the owner.

Excellent stay, great price, with a sweet family running the place. The hotel does have a general curfew of 12am so after that there no one sitting at the reception desk but to get back in you just call one of the phone numbers given to you and the door is opened within seconds. The area is calm, clean, and very secure with multiple embassy’s and police stationed nearby. I would definitely come back whenever I visit Rome!

A gem of a family run hotel in a very walkable area of Rome. The room was spacious and clean. The adjoining bathroom was functional- watch out for the step out. Highly recommend for couples.

Advertised as breakfast included. In email I asked if there was a kitchen and was told yes but no kitchen. This hotel is more like a Hostel. You must hand in your key and room card at the desk when leaving and returning. There are surveillance cameras but this may be for security reasons. We were not told of these cameras. There are really no amenities. A coffee maker would really add to the stay. We were very disappointed and felt this hotel was inconvenient in many ways. The woman who checked us in was very unfriendly and terse making our original impression negative, feeling very uncomfortable.

Clean room, comfortable bed, attentive staff.Quiet.convenient nice cafe next door for breakfast. Has fairly new AC.no shampoo nor hair conditioner. Easy walk to Borghese museum and 20 min walk to Trevi fountain.Fairly safe neighborhood to walk in the evening

The Hotel golden is an older family owned hotel. It doesn’t offer many frills but if what you want is an affordable quiet place to sleep, it’s a good place. It was a little farther from the historic sites but if you don’t mind the hills, it’s walkable. There is a coffee shop close by for breakfast. We did use uber quite a bit because of the amount of walking. The bedding was adequate and the room was pretty quiet. The shower had great pressure and the bathroom was pretty big. All in all, a good stay for the money.
