We arrived just in time to join the rooftop celebration for New Years! This was an unexpected surprise. The views of the fireworks were spectacular! The hotel is beautifully classic with some modern touches. Our room was nice, not very ample, but cozy. The shower size will be an issue for larger people. It is very narrow. Our included breakfast was a great part of the day. The dining room is beautiful! Full breakfast with eggs, pastries, fruit, meats and cheeses, coffee and juices. Limited room service on certain days. Staff was courteous. Very nice stay in Trastevere.

Parking in the property is difficult; you need to call them to open the gate each way, making it not easy after hours. The rooms need some upgrading. The staff is friendly and know how to serve you well. The location is amazing. The garden and outdoor are espectacular.

This hotel was wonderful. Great breakfast and clean rooms. The metro buses are nearby and we were able to easily navigate all the places we wanted to see in Rome during our six day stay. Two buses stop directly across the street and several more stopped three blocks away. Many nearby shops including a laundromat with same day service. Our first night we asked for a recommendation on restaurants. Ristorante Scarpone was a nearby option they recommended. It was fabulous! We would stay at this hotel again just for its proximity to this restaurant, let alone all the hotel’s other fine features. There is also a nearby park that we hope to enjoy on our next visit.

Another great stay. Have been here 6 times in recent years. Checked in late and was given a very small room. Went down and talked to the front staff, was moved to a bigger room the next day. See you next June.

Hotel Gianicolo is the perfect mix of elegance and tranquility. Perched above Rome, it offers breathtaking city views and easy access to Trastevere and the Vatican. The staff were warm and attentive, the rooms spotless and charming, and the breakfast delicious. The peaceful garden and pool made it the ideal retreat after a day exploring the city. We loved the staff at this hotel and the beautiful grounds in a quiet area. The pool was fantastic and on-site dining options are excellent, especially for tired travelers in need of relaxation.
