CasaLilli is a place where you can feel the security and warmth of home. We are an English-speaking family, making it easy to communicate your wants and needs.

It has a modern and very spacious living/dining room with a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two, satellite TV, DVD player, and a stereo CD player. There are two tastefully appointed bathrooms, one with a bathtub, and the other with a shower and a hair dryer. The master bedroom, furnished with antique furniture, has a decidedly romantic feel. The other bedroom, with twin beds and a study, is comfortable and contemporary. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The kitchen is completely equipped with a mini oven, a four burner gas range with oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, blender, toaster, plus all the necessary cooking utensils. It leads to a terrace where you can enjoy your meals al fresco. A washing machine and flat iron complete the list of amenities.

CasaLilli is within walking distance from the sites of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trajan Market, and Circus Maximus. Just around the corner, and not to be missed, is the Basilica of San Clemente, a structure of three churches built one on top of the other during three different eras, thus condensing 2000 years of Christian history. The Domus Aurea, better known as the Golden House of Nero, is just a couple of blocks away. It was from here that the famous Emperor watched while Rome burned.

We loved staying here. The apartment was nicely prepared and we felt like we were enjoying a home in a typical neighbourhood. The apartment wasn’t overdone but comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and regularly started our day sitting with coffee outside.

The listing was 100% accurate: we experienced the local feel of Rome—removed from the tourist hub-bub. Things to note: delicious gelato at the end of the block, and a delightful bakery made for fun evenings and great early mornings. Marmi was responsive and helpful with recommendations. Had a wonderful stay at Casa Lilli. The host was very welcoming and the location is great for using public transportation or grabbing a taxi. The area is very safe and quiet compared to other parts of the city center and it is just a stones throw away from the Colosseum. I would definitely stay at this residence again.

What a lovely place and amazing host! Location very close to the colosseum, making it easy to sites in that area. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Host was so helpful in organizing tours, sharing recommendations for restaurants, and also with transportation. She was communicative from time of booking until departure date. The multiple bathrooms was very convenient for our family. Would absolutely stay again if we had the chance both for the excellent hosting as well as accomodations.

The apartment was lovely and very clean, which i appreciated. Great space for us to visit as a family while on vacation. It is in a great location to restaurants and transportation options. Wonderful location, just a few blocks away from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. There were lots of great restaurants and a grocery store within a few-minutes walk of the flat. Our host, Marmi, was wonderful. She quickly responded to all of our questions and needs; she even arranged two great days with a private tour guide on short notice. We would definitely stay here again.
