Worst VRBO ever

Awful Service — Rudeness That Was Honestly ImpressiveOur stay was defined by poor service and a complete lack of professionalism. The air conditioning in our original room didn’t work during a heatwave, and rather than offering help, the hosts responded with a dismissive message essentially blaming us for booking a “non-hotel structure.” Their exact words: “I think that having booked in a non-hotel structure you should know that in order to meet the prices that guests like you can pay, we cannot offer you assistance like a hotel.” That level of arrogance was honestly impressive — and completely unacceptable.They’ll likely claim they “solved” the issue by moving us to a different room, but don’t be misled. That only happened after a long, stressful fight and escalation to VRBO. The process was draining and entirely avoidable had the hosts treated us with basic courtesy and responsibility. Another thing to add is that this was a 1 bedroom private bath not a 2 bedroom private bath. The name is misleading, and VRBO is not able to flag it, I called and they said that “you can name a property anything you would like”. I would not recommend this listing to anyone expecting a minimum level of comfort, accountability, or respect.

Nice stay

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay in Rome. It was a little loud due to the train station, luckily I was used to it, but my younger brother had some trouble with the noise. The bed was harder than we would've liked, but we got used to it and were super tired from seeing the city to really care. The location in Rome is fantastic and so easy to get to and from. Overall, great stay for a great price.
