The hotel is run down and poorly managed. The entrance parapet was dirty, the rooms were shabby, and much of the furniture was chipped or broken. The décor felt more rococo than art deco, contrary to how the hotel presents itself. The staff were neither professional nor particularly friendly. The only real positive was the breakfast, which was good. Overall, this is not a 5-star hotel in any meaningful sense.
