Hotel was relatively easy to find once I got through the crazy trafic circles at the highway exit. Lobby and breakfast room were clean and bright. Check-in was simple. Walls near entrance were obviously repaired with raw spackle visible where damage from luggage carts had been repaired - but was badly in need of completion with primer and paint. Room seemed quite clean. There was evidence of recent wall repairs, which still needed paint touch-up. King room had a microwave and dorm size fridge which was nice. TV had limited channels, but Rolla is a small town. One criticism is the shower. This was an accessible room with a walk / roll in shower. The bench that you typically would find was absent, with ugly holes crudely patched with silicone instead. And one of the safety brackets had been torn off the wall in the center of the shower - leaving two large holes in the shower wall where the anchor bolts had been, with no sealent to prevent water from passing behind the wall. This is a 5 minute fix with a $3 tube of silicone caulk. I covered the holes with tape to prevent water from getting behind the wall - but guests should not need to make such basic repairs. Obviously, their maintenance staff needs better supervision to assure projects are completed, and housekeeping needs to make sure maintenance repairs damage that could lead to bigger problems. The breakfast was okay, although limited in selection. The waffles were very good. I would stay again.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. But...Shower wouldn't drain very fast which was gross, it was loaded with hairs and crud. TV kept messing up on and off, more than not. We tried to call desk multiple times both from the room phone and our cell phones and no one would answer so we gave up. Breakfast was not the best. There was only one prepared (cooked) item and it was not labled. Some sort of egg, cheese, potato bites - maybe with bacon?? Only fruit was whole apples. Pool was very dark and gloomy. The entrance and elevators smelled badly like cigarettes and marijuana everytime we went through. I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't stay again unless there were not any alternatives.

Water for hot tub was too cold to really make it worth having. WiFi was almost nonexistent. Good in hallway, but walk into a room and it was too slow to use. Tried two different rooms on different floors with same result. Oh, and awful cell reception so… TV always defaulted to wrong input. Had to reset at the TV. Front desk knew and didn’t seem to care. Key cards for our room were canceled halfway through our visit. Same with another guest as I waited at the desk.
