Check in was easy. The room was clean. I felr it needed an air freshener of some sort. I , later recognized it would be irrelevant due to the guest next door. I was wakened by an awful smell. It smelled like a bush of skunks had entered the bedroom side. I had to leave the room due to the side affects caused. I had to sleep on the living room side in one of the little chairs. Due to my safety I didn't leave the room in the dark and felt it unsafe

Ok, so the ONLY complaint we had was with the breakfast coffee, but breakfast was otherwise decent and being honest my brother who noticesaid something about it to me it is an early morning coffee snob. They were repaving one side of the parking lot and half of the lot was closed but, life goes on and I did not complain, the parking lot side that was open was just close to full. The staff was awesome. We had a trailer with us and got there late but the sweet lady at the desk (approx 10pm fri Nov 7, 2025) let us park on the curb since we were leaving early the next day. Thank you so much! The gentleman behind the front desk was very friendly as we were leaving at about 730-8am on Saturday. Our room was clean, both beds were fresh with 3 comfortable pillows each bed (I find a pillow can make or break your night on the road) and both of us woke up feeling well rested in the morning. The TV worked well, we travel for work probably 80-100+ nights a year and basic hotel rooms can be very hit or miss, often with TVs that you have to wade through 100 channels of junk to find anything watchable as you unwind from your day. The fact that I complained about the coffee ment that I had to really look for something wrong. I would highly recommend this Baymont if you need a room and if we ever find the need to stop in this area again I will be more than happy to stay here.
