Honestly, we were delightfully surprised about silver sands motel. It was half the price as most of the other places around this area, so we were not anticipating much. And granted, it was no Marriott but it was clean, well maintained and my kids LOVED the direct access to the beach. It was great. We also appreciated the affordability of this location on the Oregon coast.

Silver Sands was a nice motel right on the beach. We picked this motel specifically for the proximity to the beach and it did not disappoint!! We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the sound of the sea all night.

This motel is next to the beach so that's the big plus and it's also close to restaurants and stores. Everything else is substandard. It is old, run down, and has uncomfortable mattresses. Our shower dripped the whole time.

The room was dated but clean and comfortable. The electrical outlet for the coffee maker was out of service. I had to move it to one that did work. It was nice to have a room that we could walk right to the beach.

Me and my wife had an amazing time in Rockaway. The Silver Sand was a great place to stay. We will stay there again for sure.
