One of the best hotels Downtown Rochester has to offer. Favorite part of this experience was the pool & hot tub area and the king sized, comfortable bed!

The space itself is nice and clean. The check in process took about 20 mins with no explanation. No questions were asked of me, just us standing there in silence and nothing happening. All of the nearby parking ramps were full. After my friend ended up parking 10 mins away and walked back in the rain, they told us there was valet parking for the same price. Meanwhile, I was still standing at the desk trying to get checked in. Lastly, there was ice cold lemon water in the lobby at 9:50pm, but when we went back to get some at 9:55pm we were told it was done for the night in a very stoic manner. Lol. Overall, not friendly or helpful staff, but the place itself is good.

I always enjoy coming here...HOWEVER, this time my room was too hot & never did get cool. Also, the staff could be more KNOWLEDGEABLE about how to get around the street/sidewalk closings-due to construction. They didn't tell me anything. They need to be more informed about what's around the property to be a top-notch hotel

Easy to get to Mayo appointments from this hotel. Very quiet. Older but remodeled and nice hotel. Housekeeping could be more thorough Iin making sure things like cups, coffee, tissues, etc are restocked. Had to call for a hair dryer because none in the room.

-Construction going on -tooth paste spit on bathroom tile & vanity and on the outside of bathroom door -Bathtub fills to top of my ankles when showering -elementary toilet, very close to the ground -pillows are few & small -building is tired, restaurant food is disgusting, place is sticky & very dated

It started out ok, the king suite I reserved wasn’t available so they down graded with no monies refunded. The first night was fine but the second day into our stay I was laying down when I heard voices only to wake up to two hotel staff standing in my room. They said they thought the room was empty. The hotel staff seemed uninterested about this. Our 3rd night, we were awoken at 5am by fire alarms (no fire). We decided to pack up and leave a day early.

I like the 24 hour self serve market. I counted on it but when i arrived after 12 hours of flying, it had a sign on computer screen that said " out of order". It let me in with my key. I needed the distilled water for my CPAP machine. I got two items snd went to desk to pay for them. Girl with glassed said very brusquely that i could not do that and I had to put them back. Other guests were told the same. No offer for alternative. The next day, the sign was off the screen so me, and other guests, thought it worked. A man leaving with food said he just paid at front desk. Front desk girl was very rude. Same one. She said, " We talked about this yesterday. We cannot do that. You could have gone to the pharmacy." I only came up again because sign was down and a guest said he paid up front. There was a poor elderly lady with a husband in a wheelchair loaded up with snacks because they had not eaten all day. And another customer. I asked to see the supervisor. Finally someone nice and professional.She wrote our stuff down and let us take it. Elderly lady and other customers thanked me profusely. If that company wanted proper business, they should have come and fixed the machine. We were being punished as honest customers while other customers just left with free snacks. I am not sure if staff even contacted the company. When i was leaving, I asked for a bathroom key since I turned mine in. Girl was very put out and finally handed me a key. None of this happened my first visit.
