Our stay was very good especially helpfulness of the staff. They were marvelously patient and helpful. Unfortunately we stayed during a time when there were a lot of kids' sports participants, which made a very noisy and chaotic place. Otherwise I would have rated this stay as Excellent!

At check-in, our credit card was charged $16 for possible "incidentals." We checked out with none, but even after a phone call, they did not refund our money. They also have a policy "to enter any occupied guestroom at a minimum of once within a 24-hour period, even if a guest has requested privacy." Never saw a policy like that before. Ridiculous.

Excellent service at the front desk! I had a tricky situation with a traveling companion and the lady working was so kind, patient, and professional. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. I was traveling with 2 friends so we loved having the “living space” in our room plus the kitchen and island to eat at. We chose this hotel because it’s walkable to the Civic Center, and that was really convenient. I definitely recommend staying here.

We were here for some testing at Mayo Clinic. The hotel is in a very safe area and walkable to the clinic, but also has a shuttle that runs all day. The (paid) parking was easy in/out, spacious and safe. The hotel offers free breakfast daily and free hot soup (Panera style) on weekdays at 5:30p. Staff was very helpful and friendly, there are wheelchairs available if needed. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. They do use feather pillows, but being allergic to them, I was able to switch them out for hypoallergenic ones and they arrived quickly. The floors are secured by using your keycard to access your floor. I was never worried about safety. Breakfast was amazing, hot, and the staff is very attentive. This will be our go-to if we ever need to stay in the area again. Highly recommended!

Our room had a weird speaker device hanging off the cut out in the sheetrock. Ok. But then when i showered the next morning, the shower handle is so old and abused, i could barely turn it on. Then my husband tried to help and couldn't believe how bad it was, you couldn't turn it back. The front desk was notified in the morning in early hours but never came to fix and never offered us a different room. So we had to stay the reminder of our time without showers! The outside light up was completely broken and not on. Im really surprised by the reviews, must be just the plain bar that gets people in...very upsetting to pay this much for the days of no showering.

Didnt stay at property. I accidentally booked Rochester, MN instead of Rochester, NY and within 5 minutes of the error I called hotel and I was told that I would be honored a full refund due to the nature of error. The next morning I recieve email stating that my refund was denied, that the pilicy had to be followed. Thats really messed up, because it wasn't like I was canceling reservations after hrs of making it.. I attemoted to cancel it not even 5 minutes after booking it once I realized the error.

The hotel was clean and the room was clean. However, the couch had a definite smell of urine. It was very strong. It is a pet friendly hotel so I was assuming it was animal urine? It was bothersome, but I did not mention it to the hotel staff.
