The Hotel seems overpriced. Whilst the setup is nice. The room lacks light and is very nice. People stayed in the room on top of ours and one could hear them walking and going to the toilet.

We only stayed for one night. The room was beautiful with direct access to a pool. The staff were exceptional and couldn’t do more to make sure you were comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were delicious. Wish we had stayed for another night.

Hospitality at its finest

Wow - nothing was too much. The team at Small hotel just always surprised us from treats in our rooms to my car being washed (which I’m still in absolute shock and wow - that’s a memorable moment - thank you Wright). The team are all friendly - Noami, Chanti, Charles, Wright and rest of the team are incredible. The actual hotel is beautiful, it’s like a sanctuary. We got an upgrade to pool suite ( try and boom these rooms just beautiful). I can keep going on but it’s a 10/10. Loved our stay and the food was good too.

This hotel is exceptional . We got upgraded to the swim put room, the sun was on the pool until sun it was glorious to sit there with a glass of wine be able to swim in the pool overlooks the perfectly manicured mountains. The room is beautifully decorated to a very high standard, large king size bed and soft drink and tea and coffee. We ate dinner in the hotel - only dinners so treated to great service . The menu is much more expensive than other places we’ve experienced in South Africa being from the UK. It was still reasonably price for us. The food was very good. Breakfast included in our room rate and was also exceptional the best we’ve had on our 15 day trip across the east to West Cape. When I initially booked the hotel I was thinking that I would be able to walk to the vineyard but this was not the case. The nearest vineyard is the Robinsons but it’s head office but it was only a seven minute drive to Graham Beck Vineyard we go to. . The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were overwhelmed with the kindness of them washing our car without even asking us before we left. Secure on site, Parking and we felt totally safe on this very small resort I would truly love the opportunity one date to return to this hotel. It was in a different league to most of the hotels we stayed in South Africa, but the price point was about the same as the other.

As lovely as the first time we stayed in 2018 and the staff are so very friendly and helpful . The food is amazing and it was lively to have a room opening out onto the pool .Some of the building decor is a bit tired on the outside as is around the pool , and could do with a refresh- but nothing to detract from a terrific stay .

Beautiful property with swimming pools, well-landscaped gardens, and large, comfortable rooms. In a quiet neighborhood yet walkable to and around the town. Great on-site restaurant with delicious fresh food, wine selection, and breakfast. The staff was super pleasant and helpful. Would visit again!

Im „The Robertson Small Hotel“ wurden wir von A-Z verwöhnt. Klein, aber perfekt! Das Personal war äusserst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Einfach nur Toll! Jedem, der sich überlegt, in Robertson einen Halt zu machen, ist hier richtig.
