Holliday on Le Loir 2025

Claire met us at a prearranged time (we were 20 minutes late) and explained all the workings. We were content with all the facilities. The house was well equipped and well maintained, close to essential services but rural and tranquil. Claire is very competent and friendly. We liked the goats, who grew fat on our vegetable peelings.

Beautiful decorated property, with lots of amenities we all enjoyed the garden (petanque court) and swimming pool. The owners were very helpful with recommendations for canoe/kayak and nothing was too much trouble.

Fabulous stay in Loire Valley

This property exceeded all of our expectations! It was clean, extremely well-equipped for children, and spacious. The beds were firm and comfortable. Our host Claire was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The pool is heated and Claire takes great care of it. There is also a games room outside (archery, darts, ping pong) and toys and books for the children - when they get tired of visiting the friendly goats! We also really enjoyed the property’s close location to a well-stocked grocery store and several places to get delicious coffee, bread, pastries, and lunches/dinners. Quite a few excellent Michelin star restaurants are also within an 8-40 min drive. We highly recommend this property and will stay here again!
