Above the Clouds is a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath mountain retreat designed around one thing: the view. Perched high above the valley near Cloudland Canyon and Lookout Mountain, this home gives you room to spread out indoors while keeping the scenery front and center.

Step outside onto the large private deck, where you can sip your morning coffee, share a meal outdoors, or settle into the hot tub overlooking the valley and surrounding ridgelines. It is the kind of view that makes you want to stay outside long after the sun goes down.

Down in the large grass yard, the view-side fire pit creates another favorite gathering spot. Pull up an Adirondack chair, light a fire, make s’mores, and watch the mountains change color as evening settles over the valley.

Inside, the home is unusually spacious for a mountain getaway. The large living room gives everyone room to relax together after a day of hiking, sightseeing, or exploring nearby attractions. A full kitchen and dinning area provides plenty of space for breakfasts, family dinners, and longer stays when you would rather cook at home than head back out.

Both bedrooms are generously sized, giving couples, families, and groups space to unpack and settle in. The main floor bedroom includes a Queen Bed with a sitting area. A full bathroom, complete with a walk in shower, soaking tub and the view of the valley. The upstairs bedroom covers the entire second floor. It includes a King Bed, Queen Bed and a sitting area overlooking the view - it just may have the best view of the entire house! The second bedroom includes a private full bathroom with shower/tub combo.

Getting to Above the Clouds is easy! Enjoy a beautiful, scenic drive along paved, two-lane roads with no steep mountain climbs, sharp descents, gravel roads, or off-road driving required. No special vehicle or four-wheel drive needed, just a smooth, relaxing journey to your mountain getaway.

YOUR SPACE
Above the Clouds has its own exterior entrance, kitchen, living room, dining area and private deck. It occupies one side of a property with a separate neighboring rental space that may host other guests during your stay.

Your reservation includes Above the Clouds only. The neighboring cottage is not included.

PARKING
There is a designated parking space for one vehicle. Additional parking is available; instructions for additional parking will be provided with reservation confirmation.
