Our Highlight was Mt. Etna

We had everything we needed at this apartment. The parking was one street away in a public parking area and we felt the car was safe. The wifi was a bit challenging at times, but with patience, we were able to complete the tasks we wanted to do. Most of the time the wifi was OK. Maria and family were helpful and very friendly. We travelled to Taormina, Mount Etna, Catania and inland from this point.

Spirit of Sicily

When you visit an island like Sicily the first time, you have to chose which destination...and the answer is Torre Archirafi (Riposto). Appartmento vacanza di Maria Grazia Grasso é molto bennissimo per vacanza in Sicilia... On the top of the appartment terrace you have the overview, on the one side the sea and on the other the Etna...perfect for breakfest, lunch and dinner with view. A small mobile is hold every morning at about 9 in front of the appartment house with fruits, vegetables and for more the way to Riposto port is very short with an amazing request... fruit, vegetables and fish fresh from the fishnet. I think this option for a summary is to short for description the impression on Sicily, because it is an island very special ...big mankind cultures have visit this island and stay there. When you are in Sciliy open your eyes, your nose and your ears... than enjoy...every corner has a suprise or something special on it's own way. Ottima, anche se ci si è dovuti adattare al disagio della polvere vulcanica. La posizione eccellente per le visite dei luoghi etnei e sulla costa orientale della Sicilia; mare stupendo, cristallino e gestori dell'appartamento eccezionalmente cordiali e ospitali. Inoltre abbiamo trovato una cucina super accessoriata, fornita di tutto e anche più del necessario.

Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de Maria et ses parents ! Très gentils !Merci à eux .L'appartement est très agréable, calme et correspond exactement à la description et aux photos.Nous avons la grande terrasse sur les toits qui nous laisse sans voix face à l'Etna d'un côté et la vue de la mer de l'autre....L'appartement est situé au port qui tous les soirs nous propose des concerts gratuits aux environs des bars-restaurants.En cette période de 15 août, nous avons eu la chance d'assister, du haut de la terrasse, à plusieurs feux d'artifice !Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Wir haben die Dachterrasse genossen.Auf der einen Seite der dampfende Ätna und gegenüber das blaue Meer.Wunderbar zum Essen und Chillen.Wer in der Wohnung Urlaub macht muß viele Treppen laufen. War für uns allerdings kein Problem.

Grandioser BlicK & Tante Poldi-Krimis

unglaublich toller Blick von der Dachterasse auf Ätna und Meer, wie auf den Photos, außerdem empfehlen wir dringend Poldi-Krimis von Mario Giordano mitzunehmen, die Krimis spielen in Torre Archirafi, sind sehr witzig geschrieben, die Wohnung in der die Hauptperson der Kirmis wohnt, ist direkt neben dem Haus und man schaut Tante Poldi tagtäglich auf die dachterrasse :)

Herrlicher Sizilienurlaub in idealer Lage

Die schöne Wohnung direkt unter dem Ätna gelegen mit einer Dachterrasse mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer und den Ätna. Ein idealer Standort um Sizilien mit Ausflügen zu erkunden. Sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße gelegen. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter.

Toller Ausgangspunkt für einen Sizilienurlaub

Wer nicht das touristische Sizilien sucht, sondern die Zeit mitten in einem Dorf/Städtchen direkt am Meer verbringen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen tollen Rundumblick zum nahen Ätna, auf das Meer und über das Dorf, in dem wir uns sehr wohl fühlten. Man kann in wenigen Schritten ins Meer springen und gegenüber der Kirche auf einer Terrasse den ersten Kaffee trinken, dazu auf sizilianische Weise Granite mit Brioche frühstücken, hat mehrere Möglichkeiten, gut und preiswert essen zu gehen. Viele nette Begegnungen im Dorf. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geradezu perfekt. Mit dem Mietwagen sind z.B. Taormina, der Ätna-Gipfel und Catania schnell zu erreichen. Nach Syrakus sind wir zweimal entspannt mit dem Zug vom 4 km entfernten Bahnhof gefahren, und von dort können wir auch eine Ätna-Umrundung mit der Schmalspurbahn (Circumetnea) empfehlen. Tanti saluti e mille grazie an die sehr nette und unkomplizierte Vermieterfamilie.

Appartement grand. Climatisation dayla grande chambre et salon. Accueil par les parents de Maria, ils sont rempli de gentillesse. Maria est facilement joignable (parle français). La terrasse est le MUST avec une vue splendide sur l'Etna et la mer, les soirées y sont très agréables. Grazie molto

schöne Wohnung mit super Ausblick

Gepflegte Wohnung, alles war sowie im Internet beschrieben, der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war nett und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe von Riposto, gut gelegen für Ausflüge zum Ätna, Taormina,Syrakus usw.Es gibt im Ort einen kleinen Kiesstrand und in einem kleinen Supermarkt bekommt man alles was man so braucht. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Alles war wie angegeben, die Vermieter hllfsbereit und freundlich. Wir sind in der ganzen Zeit (im August) auf keinen anderen Ausländer getroffen, was wir sehr genossen haben. Der abendliche Blich auf den spuckenden Aetna ist beeindruckend.

Perfekt für einen individuellen Urlaub

Für ein Pärchen mit Mietwagen und Lust auf Urlaub fernab vom Massentourismus ideal. Die Wohnung ist groß und schön. Die Terrasse ist abends einfach phantastisch. Alles wichtige ist vorhanden. Sehr unkomplizierter Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Der Ort ist sehr klein und ursprünglich. Wir haben dort keine ausländischen Touristen getroffen. Es ist von Vorteil wenn man etwas italienisch beherrscht, um zum Beispiel beim Fleischer einzukaufen oder etwas zu erfragen. Mit einem Mietwagen kann man viele touristische Ziele wie zum Beispiel den Ätna oder Taormina erreichen. Ein paar Kilometer weiter gibt es auch lange Strände, die selbst am Wochenende nicht überfüllt waren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Très bel appartement, grand et propre ! La terrasse est fantastique, surtout en soirée (trop chaud dans la journée). Climatisation très appréciable et appréciée !! L'emplacement est bien pour naviguer dans le secteur. Pas beaucoup de plage dans le secteur par contre... Encore merci à Maria et à son père pour leur accueil !

Une terrasse sublime

Bel appartement, très propre, avec une très grosse terrasse sur le toit que nous avons particulièrement appréciée pour les petits déjeuners et les soirées, depuis laquelle nous voyons parfaitement l'Etna d'un côté et la mer de l'autre. Il y a un petit magasin tout proche bien utile et peu cher, la propriétaire très sympathique( parle bien le français) a mis des vélos à notre disposition, et nous avons profité de la piste cyclable le long de la mer. Endroit calme.

"Tutto corrispondente alla descrizione, l''appartamento è in ottimo stato, pulitissimo e non manca di niente; nota di merito particolare per la terrazza, una meraviglia! I proprietari sono persone squisite, gentili e riservate (abbiamo inavvertitamente rotto un ripiano del frigorifero e non ci hanno fatto neanche pagare il danno). Anche il contesto è perfetto: l''appartamento dista il giusto da diversi posti che vale la pena di visitare (Taormina, gole Alkantara, Acitrezza, Acicastello, Catania...) e il pesce locale è squisito e a buon mercato. Consiglio caldamente per una vacanza di mare, relax e cultura!"

"Positivo:Amabilidad de los propietarios, bien equipado, buenas vistas. Es un buen destino para visitar el Etna, Taormina o Catania, aunque en mi opinión no para estar muchos días. La autopista queda a 15 minutos y Torre Archifari no es muy atractiva Negativo: La segunda habitación es en realidad una cama bajo una escalera. No hay playa de arena próxima"
