We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Deanery. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and we loved the attention to detail. The parking was amazing and we were able to check-in early, situated within a minutes walk of the cathedral and shops were located very near. The facilities were brilliant and the staff were so helpful. Breakfast was out of this world. If you get the chance you must pay this place a visit the whole experience was magnificent.

Gorgeous Ripon stay

Gorgeous old building with amazing access to Ripon, couldn’t beat the location with the cathedral in view from the window. Lovely breakfast and really friendly staff who helped as much as they could on a hot day!

The Old Deanery is brilliant if you appreciate a sense of the historic! The rooms are full of charm and character and the staff were excellent. The 'Tasting menu' is a delight on the taste buds and well worth every penny! As is the breakfast which is a wonderful way to start the day. It is situated over the road from the beautiful Cathedral in the heart of the ancient city of Ripon and well worth the opportunity to forget about the car and explore the city on foot. Well worth the money.

I couldn’t have been happier with my stay at the Old Deanery. Incredible location for the Cathedral, Hornblower, etc. My room looked directly onto the Cathedrà and was such a treat. Lovely comfy bed and the room was spotless. Delightful staff, who couldn’t do enough for you. Special shout out for Tom, who is just the nicest chap, but everyone was wonderful. The most beautiful breakfast with homemade breads and granola plus a fresh home cooked breakfast. I will absolutely be coming back again.
