The location was ideal to fully experience Cinque Terre: resturants, walks, ocean access, and a short walk to the train station, it was all there. The property from the outside has its traditional charm while the interior is a modern design that cleverly captures the buildings heritage.

Beautiful room and exceptional staff

Staff are exceptional and take time to ensure you are getting the most of your stay at Cinque Terre. They were very accommodating. The room we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous.

Michele was very knowledgeable about getting around Cinqua Terre. In our short time we did the ferry, bus and train to go between towns. Lots of walking and lots of hills so be prepared. The place is beautiful!

Our stay at Scorci Di Mare started with a warm welcome and introduction to the sights of Cinque Terra. Be prepared for a few stairs but the stunning view of the water right underneath our window was worth the walk. A very relaxing stay.

I booked the superior double room with sea view and it exceeded expectations. The property manager went above and beyond by arranging parking, guiding us through the town and making excellent recommendations for our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and included a bottle of wine which we enjoyed while taking in the spectacular the view from the balcony. The hotel was located close to waterfront restaurants, ferry, train and a short walk to the beach. Loved it!

This was my 3rd stay at Scorci Di Mare. I can’t say enough about the excellent location with an easy walk from the train station. Located right in the spectacular Riomaggiore Marina. The staff are exceptional. The rooms are clean and perfect.

We met Michael at the train station and he carried my bag to my room!! Many many steps straight up to a beautiful room with a view of the Liguarian Sea. Paolo gave us a map, and basically helped us decide our itineary, where we had openings. He helped us get our hiking and train tickets purchased at a discount. Get in step climbing shape prior to coming. There are many steps in Cinque Terre area. Book a room with a view!!

The place has a beautiful ocean view, right in front of the bay and where pretty much everything happens (restaurants, train station, etc). Paolo, the host, was very attentive and gave us a personalized welcome. Visitors to Cinque Terre must know that traveling light is a must -back pack preferably- given that climbing stairs is your only way around. Getting adequate parking may be challenging and clear instructions by the host are crucial.

The property is located in a village that is quite magical. Had I known just how amazing the villages were, I would have stayed a week. Dont underestimate the amount of walking and stairs you will be doing to get to your room though. Pack light and wear tennis shoes. I had blisters just getting to my room the first trip, though they were worth it. This room in particular is outstanding. We will be back!

The staff gave detailed instructions on how to locate the hotel, but it was still very difficult to find. The last 20 meters was where we became lost. There is no hotel sign visible from the alleyway. We would not have found it except with help from a local.

We absolutely loved it—thank you to Paulo for being such an amazing host! His passion for the villages and the wine made for a fantastic start to our trip. Just a heads-up for future visitors: be prepared to walk, including quite a few stairs. It was perfect for us, but others might want to know that you’ll likely need to carry your luggage up a few sets of steaks at times. Thank you for a beautiful stay!
