It was very good for what it is. Air con was very effective, staff was welcoming and friendly, food was plentiful, bar lineups were short, facilities were clean, and four pools to suit various age groups. The food was buffet quality except for the specialty restaurants, so foodies may find it a bit lacking in quality, and sometimes cold and stale. Also somewhat crowded and loud, if that's not what you're into. Perfect for families and younger partiers, or older folks who don't care about those factors.

The property was great, food options were plentiful, but the staff made it memorable! From Maricruz bringing such joy to every meal we were lucky enough to see her, to Alex and Yunier behind the bar making tasty drinks quickly, to Abdiel ensuring the pool was safe and enjoyable, to Eleuterio helping us find a lost personal item and being so nice! For anyone traveling without children, the pool with the swim up bar is adults only and consistently enforced - we only really saw kiddos at meals. Overall would recommend!

We’d give it minus 10 if we could. A loud, noisy party want to be hotel that blared music day and night. Read not relaxing for a restful vacation. We were booked for 6 nights and left after one night. Relocating was a wonderful decision. The food was cold and lousy, the delux room spartan, cold and from the 70s and the minibar had 4 soft drinks and two beers. One of which was taken after maintenance fixed the bathroom lights. Speaking of the alcohol, it was water down swill. This lousy hotel has a leadership problem as it is directly opposite other RIU properties we stayed at.

We had an awesome time at this RIU. The grounds were amazingly well kept, the food was mostly delicious, the beach was great. Near the end of our vacation, we were looking for things to complain about. And when you have to think that hard about it, l would say that you’ve had a wonderful time. I think housekeeping was one area that they could work on. We placed the…no service sign on our door. They still came in our room and removed all of the towels without replacing them. In room coffee packets weren’t replenished. So, the big question … would we return ? Most definitely YES. We’ll probably be back next year and bring our kids.

The staff was very rude to African Americans. They cleaned but not properly. The hotel is very secluded and 2 hours away from the fun stuff. I had no hot water in my room. The food gave me diarrhea. The WiFi was not working good so I couldn’t do homework. The store was very limited with snacks and souvenirs. The only this that saved them was the specialty restaurant.

The property was very well maintained. The sidewalks were cleaned daily as well as the pool area. The staff were friendly and well groomed. Most of the staff were bi lingual enough to understand my requests. The food was excellent and fresh. Overall I give this resort 5 stars.

The beaches at the property were dirty with trash along the beach. Not once did I see anyone from the property cleaning up the trash on the beach. Also, the property allows people who harass you for horseback rides. The food was average at best. The alcohol is bottom shelf, and the drinks are not very well made. The property advertised water sports like snorkeling. However, the only snorkeling is an excursion that included a 3-hour ride and a 3 hour back. I would not recommend this property.
