Good hostel for the price. Well located one block from the beach. Marina was amazing at reception. The previous receptionist had me in the wrong room when I arrived overnight but she was able to fix the issue, she very helpful and showed me where to get some good cheap breakfast near the hostel. Would recommend this place!

Our room was basically in the reception and it was tiny. I suspect it was once a storage room. It wa right on the street where the local bar has tables right at our window, so it was really noisy. There was no room for our bags so we resorted to putting them on the top bunk. The ensuite toilet had blood on the outside of the bowl. Furniture in the room was run down. Kitchen was well equipped but everything looked a bit unclean and when we went to wash up we found the detergent was so wateted down it was basically ineffective. Towels were meant to be included but the staff kept telling us that they were at the cleaners and to come back this afternoon/come back in the morning. We stayed three nights and never got towels, despite our constant pestering. I wouldn't stay here again.

Bright Beach and Exercise Hostel

My favorite of three hostels... Zanya is lovely house lady to wake to with very kind help from Roberto and Alex, for breakfast and then all day. And very nice to deal with, night guys, Frederico and . Owners mom covers for Zanya's days off, and she is also hard working and happy with all guests. Brightly colored hostel. Place to come for people here to go beaches. ALSO! Has some free public gym machines almost at front door, in a nice courtyard area with chess tables.

Hostel was highly recommended by friend. But had serious problem in room, in first few hours at hostel...staff helped...but owner made little effort to take responsibilty as business or hospitality educated people, more common at hotels.

Good location. The hostel is near the fruit market.The young coconut and the tropical fruits are cheap. The street vendor is selling 2 corns for 5 reails. One of the rommate is snoring. I wears earplugs, but I couldn't sleep.

Carnival

I stayed here for Carnival it was perfect because it was close to bus stops and metro station. A lot of facilities around like super markets, farmacies, stores. Right in the middle of everything made it easier to go to the blocos.

O Hostel tem uma localização privilegiada: proximo a praia , tem uma infinidade de opcoes par comer , farmacias, supermercado, etc. O quarto estava muito limpo, tem uma sacadinha. Tem uma tv com canais ( nao pega netiflix you tube ). Fiquei somente uma noite e apesar do quarto ser pequeno foi tudo perfeito.
