On the beach and amazing rooftop

Great 4 star hotel. Rooftop at sunset is a highlight. Front desk staff super friendly and super helpful. Located right on the beach, close to restaurants and nightlife, I'd come back for sure.

Good solid hotel with excellent staff.

Staff were great, service oriented, breakfast was a simple and decent buffet spread of fresh fruits, cheese, eggs, bacon, other sides. Breakfast room can get cramped at peak times, but tables turn over quickly. Elevators are slow, but, this is not a deal breaker. Beds are comfortable, and housekeeping staff are truly wonderful and keep the place spotless. The highlight is the rooftop patio, especially at Sunset with cocktails. This is a very decent 4 star hotel run by good people.

Great stay right across from beach

Great hotel. Front desk friendly , allowed for early check in. Helped make reservations during stay. Clean. Across the street from the beach. Chairs and umbrellas included. Apparently it’s on the LGBT+ part of the beach but I never noticed (your guide informed me). Breakfast was decent. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location, Great Hotel w/Superb Restauran

This was my 10th time to visit Rio, and I took three friends who had never been to this amazing city. They loved the hotel - being able to look out onto Ipanema Beach was so important for all of them. The restaurant at Sol Ipanema is much better than almost any hotel restaurant at which I have dined. The staff were courteous and helpful.
