A localização é ótima! Relativamente próxima à Lapa e ao comércio. Os quartos são bem organizados e os funcionários muito prestativos e educados. A experiência só não foi 100% devido ao café da manhã, que tinha qualidade, mas o espaço não comportava todos os hóspedes para o café, o que fazia sobrecarregar os funcionários.

Me hospedei no Ibis Budget Rio de Janeiro com mais duas pessoas, entre os dias 1º e 5 de janeiro de 2026, e a experiência foi muito ruim para o valor pago. Começando pelo quarto: o chuveiro é separado do vaso sanitário, o que até seria aceitável, porém nenhuma das portas fechava corretamente. Além disso, a fresta do vidro do box permitia ver claramente quem estava tomando banho. Mesmo estando entre pessoas conhecidas, privacidade é o mínimo esperado, ainda mais considerando que estávamos com uma senhora de mais de 65 anos. Situação totalmente desconfortável e inaceitável. Ao entrar no quarto, não havia toalhas, travesseiros e lençóis suficientes para todos, o que demonstra falta de atenção básica na preparação da acomodação. O café da manhã foi outro grande problema: o espaço não comportava a quantidade de hóspedes. Estava sempre lotado, com filas e desconforto, a ponto de muitas pessoas precisarem se deslocar até outro Ibis para conseguir tomar café. Destaco apenas dois pontos positivos: o João, responsável pelo nosso andar, que foi extremamente atencioso e solícito, e algumas (eu disse algumas) pessoas da recepção, que foram educadas e prestativas. Por outro lado, considero abusivo o valor cobrado pela água de 510 ml a R$ 11,00, algo que não condiz nem com o padrão do hotel nem com o que se vê em muitas outras capitais, inclusive após diversas viagens que já fiz.
