We had a wonderful stay and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. The space was beautifully presented, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Our host was welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We would happily return and highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting the area.

Great place to stay in Rio!

Check-in process was easy. Place was clean and well decorated. Very nice aestetic. Two large A/C units to cool the place. Really nice bathroom. Place is easy walking distance to the beach maybe like 10 minutes. Very close to nice restaurants and even a co-working place down the street. I loved my stay here and will come back again.

Excellent location, amazing facilities

Welcoming, cosy and tasteful lodging! Highly recommendable. Exceptional for a couple, but admits also 2 or 3 children. A 3-block walk from the beach. Safe area, and classy neighbourhood. Ipanema offers a large variety of shops and service facilities. Everything you may need is handy! Buses run down the street and take you everywhere.

Really great apartment in Rio!!

I stayed in this apartment for about 10 days and the pictures didn't lie, this is in fact a very nice and comfortable place!!. Location is also very great, with Ipanema beach just a couple of blocks away, restaurants, coffee places all around and Plaza Osorio metro station around the corner (which I used to move very safely/reliably around Rio). The Sunday market in Plaza Osorio was also very nice. Additionally to Rio, I complemented my stay with a two day visit to Ilha Grande (which I also recommend very much) and Joana was very helpful providing information and contacts for transfers to and from the Island. Both, Franco and Joana were on top of all my inquiries and provided an excellent customer support. I for sure would stay in this place again if I have the opportunity! Obrigado!!

Nice small apartment in a very safe location

This studio has an unbeatable location, almost directly at a central subway station in the safest area of Rio (no special view, close to Ipanema & Copacabana beaches). The studio is nice but certainly not BRAND NEW! The communication with the owners was very friendly. We later on received 5 contact persons (tel & mail), however, it was stressful that nobody felt responsible and nobody could be reached. Once we landed, it went on like this and we couldn't reach anyone. Fortunately, there was someone in the apartment who gave us friendly instructions. The apartment was rather clean, but it had certainly not been wiped with a damp cloth beforehand and there was sand in the shower. One of the 2 air-co units was defective and very loud. The technician came the next day but as the safe wasn't working, we couldn't leave him alone in the studio and missed a day trip we had booked. Real pitty! Our request via WhatsApp for 2 more towels was only answered when we emailed again 4 days later. There were a few things missing in the kichen that you would expect: no toaster, kitchen knife, washing machine, electric kettle, etc. The filter coffee machine was old and not really clean. The absolute no-go for us was the mattress, which had probably already seen several hundred tenants and looked and felt accordingly. It was only covered with a thin sheet. In terms of hygiene, this is not acceptable. We cannot recommand the management of RIO HOSTS. Thank you. BC

Moderno e Limpo

O apartamento é muito acolhedor, limpo, e bem iluminado. O administrador do imóvel e o pessoal do edificio sempre tiveram otima disposiçao em ajudar. A conectividade tambem é boa. Tem metro, onibus, taxi e uber. O setor tambem tem muitos restaurantes, bares e diversidade de comida. Tem um supermercado a 2 quadras. E a praia de Ipanema está a 500 metros. Enfim, muito recomendável/prático.

Un bon séjour d'une semaine à Rio, pour découvrir cette magnifique ville. Idéalement situé, l'appartement donne une bonne impression. L'accueil s'est fait chaleureusement à mon arrivée. Il a été fait preuve de simplicité et rapidité. Je recommande et conseille cette location même si il a manqué un échange contradictoire concernant le check in/out ; et des informations essentielles absentes sur le contrat.

Great experience from booking to check-out.

My wife and I had a enjoyable stay at Franco's newly renovated and nicely appointed apartment. It is bright, clean, and in a very safe neighbourhood. Good restaurants, Ipanema Beach, groceries, and public transport are all within a radius of 10 minutes walk. Dealing with Franco and his rep in Rio, David, was a pleasant experience. They are responsive, accommodating, and professional. I will recommend the apartment to friends who are planning to visit Rio for the World Cup.

Shiny New, Comfortable and Well-Equipped

Certainly this flat has been outfitted by a person with great taste, but equally importantly, it functioned VERY well (wi-fi, music, TV, showers hot with great pressure, comfortable seating & bed, cotton sheets, usable kitchen with proper cooking tools) Building has 24 hour doorman so very secure, and property managers are in building next door so accessible for questions. Location is superb, short walks to both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, 2 blocks from the Ipanema Metro station (especially during holidays, the easiest way to travel, very simple to negotiate). Most immediate things a visitor needs: grocery, drugstore, money change, restaurant, bars, etc. are literally within a block. The owner could not have been more gracious to do business with. This rental was completely easy and operated flawlessly.

Modern Apartment in Great Location

I had the opportunity to rent this stunning apartment for 3 weeks. It is very rare and difficult in Rio to find well furnished and good conditioned apartments - this place was a gem. The pictures are a very accurate and reflect the modern facilities inside the unit. The apartment and location is quite beautiful – high above normal Rio standards. The landlord of the unit was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. I often must come back to RIO for work, so I would love to rent the apartment again in the future. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
