The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the AC turns on and off by itself and makes a loud noise every time it turns on, and you can’t turn the lights of the ac off either

Good hotel when internet works

I was given a wonderful room with a great ocean view on a upper floor. I had a couple of minor issues with the room that were not the fault of the hotel and they were promptly taken care of. One that I did find that was unacceptable was that the internet went out every single morning. I notified hotel staff 4 of my 7 days about this. 1 day it was immediately fixed and I received a call from the front desk telling me that. The other 3 day the front desk staff acted like it was something that never happened before. As someone who was traveling alone from out of the country. I relied on the hotel internet to communicate with in country friends who were coming to pick up. Needles to say that on my last day. The internet didn't work, I notified the front desk staff. 2 hours later there was still no internet. I had to turn my roaming on on my phone. This cost me extra money and frustration. The evening shift front desk staff were an absolute treat. They were so nice and helpful. I can not say enough good things about them.

Best Barra Location!

We stayed here a few times already because it’s beachfront and close to lots of dining options, groceries, and pharmacies. Comfortable room with king size bed and gorgeous views!

I had to replace room keys twice as they won't open the door, finally, I was changed to another bedroom. Staff looked like overwhelmed. I paid for breakfast at the restaurant, it was not bad, but expensive for the quality and variety of food.

I checking 8:00 PM on Saturday . Expedia didn’t sent anything to the hotel with my payment and the receptionist was ask me about my email confirmation. I wasn’t suposse to confirm that . The Expedia supposed to sent my reservation to them. The guy was rude with me. He sad if I’m not showing the reservation i ll be charging at my credit card the full amount... he went to my door and said that. I never had problems like that to checking at hotel’s. Any way...

Royalty Barra Stay

The Hotel is in a Nice quiet area, the Beach does not get very crowded, the Balcony Ocean Views are great. The Hotel does not have in room coffee makers, They do not have in room nor do they have Ironing Boards and Irons. There are a lot of local food places one short walking block away.

We we greated with the absurb parking value of 100 reais per day. To leave baggage also 10 reais. Front desk reception was poor as they looked irritated. Room was ok with good view. Breakfast needed more options for class of hotel.
