Really enjoyed our recent stay at the Moorhill House, the newly refurbished dining and bar area is so relaxing and looks lovely. The new owners have done a wonderful job and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It was not our first visit and definitely won’t be the last.

Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!

Just had a superlative stay at this recently refurbished hotel. We were awoken in our charming, comfortable and individual room to deers and donkeys running around in the ground. The public rooms are gorgeous, so much love and taste has gone into designing it and it seems like all the staff genuinely love working here, they are happy and keen to help. The value for money is outstanding. Perfect!

Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest.
