Rustic Wagon Getaway with Hot Tub/Stargazing/Views

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem! Our brand-new authentic stagecoach is beautifully decorated and hosts all of the same amenities as your standard Airbnb! We offer glamping at it`s finest!

Our cozy stagecoach features a king bed and twin bunk beds, kitchenette, and beautiful patio area with a propane grill, fire pit and patio heater. Our new bath house is just a short walk from your door (les than 100 feet) and offers a eco-friendly Incinolet toilet and running water! Rinse off after a day of hiking under the afternoon sun or nighttime stars in our outdoor shower. Our brand new Rheem hot water heater is fully functional up to 140 degrees, but please note, if the temperature drops below 40 we can not guarantee the water temperature. But do not fret, the indoor plumbing is able to maintain the hot water temperature so you may always choose to clean up indoors!

Aside from the stagecoach and private patio area, guests also have access to the hot tub, community firepit, and outdoor bathhouse. Please note, if nighttime temperatures drop below 32 degrees, the water in the bathhouse is shut off...but can be turned back on at anytime by turning the valve located under the sink back to the `on` position. This is necessary to do in order to prevent the pipes from freezing.

Our brand new and beautifully decorated stagecoach is located in a quiet rural estate subdivision that boarders the beautiful Coconino National Forest. Rimrock is your classic small southwestern town where the locals are friendly, and businesses run at their own pace. There is never a rush here, so take it easy, enjoy your beer (or wine), and just relax! While Wi-Fi is available, connection may vary at times due to the remote location. If constant or high-speed internet is essential for your stay, this may not be the best fit.

Guests should be aware that although we are only 2.5 miles away from I-17, the last 1.5 miles is a rugged stretch of dirt road up to the property. Plan for a few extra minutes travel time and be prepared for some bumps and dust along the way....we promise you won`t be disappointed when you arrive at our unique and private retreat!

We had the most incredible stay at this covered wagon VRBO—truly a one-of-a-kind experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views. The location was absolutely perfect: peaceful, scenic, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway.The wagon itself was so thoughtfully set up. The bed was unbelievably comfortable—honestly one of the best nights of sleep we’ve had in a long time. Everything was spotless, especially the bathroom, which was impressively clean and well-maintained.We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and the special arrangements made for us were beyond thoughtful. Those little touches made our trip feel extra meaningful and memorable. Cute place, clean cozy and comfy and quick responses from the host (or the property mgmnt company they use rather), but I wish that the details about the shower were more strongly communicated. It does say in the description that they couldn't guarantee the temperature for the shower, but it never got hot for us once... not even after letting it run for 30 minutes. And it is an outdoor shower, in the shade, so I never got to shower bcuz I couldn't take the cold! The water from the inside bathhouse sink did get hot, but a bird bath can only get one so clean. Also, I hated the incinerator toilet.... I feel like the smell of human waste burning has scarred me! Couple other small things... no coffee (there is a Keurig, and a few K-Cups but they were all decaf!), and no water (water from the sink inside the bathhouse was fine to drink, but would've been nice if water bottles or at least a carafe was provided inside the wagon). And the hot tub was definitely more of a warm tub. Granted it is January in the desert so cold is expected, but having the heat going for us would've been nice since we arrived late. The heating unit is very efficient tho! The dirt road to the wagon is a bit rough in parts, so I'd recommend making sure you get a high clearance vehicle (we rented a truck and it was fine).Overall this place was not for this city slicker desired level of comfort, but it was cute!

We had a great stay and enjoyed the sound of the rain on the canvas while we were warm inside the wagon. The second day the clouds cleared and the stars were amazing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

The place was super clean, especially for what it is! No bugs had found their way in and it was very tidy and the space was well utilized! The heat and AC worked great. The views were gorgeous and the stargazing was wonderful. The hot tub was hot and the fire table on the private patio made for a wonderful place to have a glass of wine in the evening. The property was quiet and we didn’t hear a peep from the neighbors. Very private. I thought using an outhouse would suck, but it’s more of a large, private separate indoor bathroom. Showering out in the cold wasn’t very fun, but I just decided to use the large outhouse sink to clean up in and wash my hair. The water gets very hot! So it’s nice. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating and quickly addressed and questions or concerns. Checkout is simple. Some places have a long checkout process and it’s almost more work than is even worth the stay. But this place kept it short and sweet! Would definitely come back again or send friends and family.

We absolutely loved this property! Imagine watching shooting stars in the middle of the desert in a hot tub with your lover. Such a divine experience. The wagon was super cozy and really cute. So many epic hikes are very short drives away. Make sure to check out montezuma well!!

My girlfriend and I were looking for peace and quiet away from our city life and thats exactly what we got. We loved staying in the unique stage coach in the desert. The vibe was amazing and we slept so great with the cooler temps at night and sound of the wind to rock us to sleep. We also really enjoyed the patio and fire pit. Gives off more heat than you think and was perfect to keep us warm while stargazing. We will be back as soon as possible.
